Vermont Hockey Training Center – Brett Leonard was recently the first native Vermont captain for the University of Vermont Varsity Hockey Team. Prior to his time at UVM, Brett was the captain of the Tilton School hockey team in New Hampshire. Brett played high school hockey at SBHS for three years, being honored MVP of the team all three years. In addition, Brett is the first and only non-senior to win the prestigious “Mr. Hockey” award; presented to the top player in the state in high school hockey. He has played hockey at the highest level throughout his 20 years of experience. Brett has been involved with coaching and training youth hockey players in Vermont for the last six years.
